The MDdec Rev02P is a ready-made matrix board for multiplexing turnout coils on the OC32. With this module you reduce 65 wires and 64 outputs to just 16 wires and 16 outputs for 32 turnouts.

How It Works

The MDdec is essentially a 4×4 matrix with built-in diodes and interference-suppression capacitors that decouples to 8 turnouts. This saves you wiring, soldering and component sourcing.

Scalability

• 1 MDdec: 4×4 matrix, 8 turnouts
• 2 MDdecs cascaded: 4×8 matrix, 16 turnouts
• 4 MDdecs cascaded: 8×8 matrix, 32 turnouts
