A reed contact switches as soon as a magnet passes and needs no power to do so. This feedback sensor with glass reed contact passes that switching on to your feedback module. This version is supplied in packs of 10, as loose contacts.

Installation

1. Step 1 – Solder your leads to the connecting wires of the reed contact.
2. Step 2 – Mount the contact beneath the road surface or beside the track.
3. Step 3 – Connect the contact to an SWdec feedback module.
4. Step 4 – Test detection with a vehicle carrying a magnet.
