Road Surface 1400x1000 mm - White 0.5 mm Plastic Sheet for H0 Roads

A smooth road surface in the colour you choose

Card as the substructure, plastic as the road surface: that is how your road gets a flat, smooth top for model cars to run over. The Road Surface 1400x1000 mm is a white plastic sheet 0.5 mm thick which you finish in any colour you like after fitting.

Key features

• Size 1400 x 1000 mm — one sheet for a substantial stretch of road network
• Thickness 0.5 mm — thin enough to stay flat, strong enough to carry
• Supplied in white — the ideal base for line markings in negative
• Free choice of colour — asphalt grey, concrete or any other shade
• Easy to work — cut and fit with standard modelling tools

Applications

MCC car system

• Road surface over the laser-cut card road sections
• Finishing parking bays, bus stops and reversing loops

Layout and diorama

• Streets, squares and car parks in H0
• A flat base for dioramas and show modules

How it works

1. Step 1 — Lay the sheet to size over the laser-cut road section and mark out the contour.
2. Step 2 — First mask the line markings with MCC line marking tape — lines, arrows and text then stay white.
3. Step 3 — Spray or paint the road surface in the colour of your choice and remove the tape once the paint is dry.
